BBSA Keeps Brigantine Kids Playing All
When you think of summer in Brigantine, NJ, the beach probably comes to mind—but for generations of local families, baseball and softball have been just as much a part of island life.
What to give back? Reach out to Brigantine Baseball and Softball Association at brigbaseball609@gmail.com
For more than 80 years, the Brigantine Baseball & Softball Association (BBSA) has been bringing kids together through the love of baseball and softball. Their mission is simple: give the youth of Brigantine a place to learn, grow, make friends, and have fun.
The action doesn't stop when the spring season ends. This summer, BBSA is keeping the excitement going with a USA Prime Baseball Camp at the end of July, plus Sandlot Nights every Thursday in July and August from 7–9 PM. These pickup games are open to players of all ages and are all about getting outside, playing ball, and making memories.
Be sure to wear athletic footwear wear, bring your helmet and glove. 13 and over? Be sure to bring a wooden bat.
Looking for even more fun? Don't miss the annual Wiffle Ball Home Run Derby in August—a favorite community tradition that's open to all ages.
Whether your child is picking up a bat for the first time or returning for another season, BBSA hopes every player leaves with new friendships, more confidence, and a love for the game.
Want to stay up to date on camps, events, and registration? Be sure to follow Brigantine Baseball and Softball Association on Facebook and Instagram throughout the summer.
